committed to
our youth
Over 100 youth in Lewis and Clark County have been raising livestock for this year's sale since as early as last fall. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we are committed to assuring these hard working youth are able to sell the livestock they have dedicated countless hours raising, feeding and tending. It is also an opportunity for all community members to purchase local, high quality meat that is currently in short supply. As such:
-
The Livestock Sale will be held July 25th at 9 a.m. outside the Multipurpose Building (red barn) at the fairgrounds. In case of inclement weather the sale will be moved inside the Multipurpose Building.
-
If the state or county moves to Phase 1 an online option will be made available.
-
Only buyers and exhibitors may attend the sale.
-
Live streaming of the livestock show and sale will be available.
-
If you cannot attend the sale in person, please consider submitting a pocket/proxy bid using this form.
-
Please register as a buyer online to reduce the check-in line the day of the sale. Click HERE to register now.
-
The Buyer's Dinner is cancelled for 2020.
We are working with the Lewis and Clark County Health Department on an acceptable plan for the sale. Please visit this website for the most up-to-date information. The minimum attendance requirements are:
-
Maintain 6 feet of physical distance.
-
Please wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible. We will have some available on site as well.
-
Pay attention to entrances and exits as well as one-way traffic.
Thank you for helping us assure our youth can complete their projects by following the guidelines set forth by the Health Department. We appreciate your continued support of all 4-Hers and our mission.
