What is a 4-H
Livestock Sale?

The 4-H Livestock Sale is a chance for local 4-H'ers to be rewarded for their hard work, dedication, and responsibility put into raising, caring for, training, and showing of their respective animals. The sale also provides a learning experience for 4-H'ers; it builds their confidence and enables them to mature socially as they interact with business professionals. It is a great way to connect with and support outstanding youth in Lewis and Clark County.

Lewis & Clark County 4-H'ers can sell 2 animals in the 4-H Livestock Sale - each of a different species.  Members must complete Quality Assurance training which teaches record keeping, food safety, and proper techniques of handling animals. This insures a safe, high quality product for the buyers, not only at the fair, but also at the super market, now and in the future.
